[Video] Fire Breaks Out at Abule Oja, Yaba, Residents Flee for Safety

A fire outbreak has been reported at Abule Oja in the Yaba area of Lagos State, forcing residents and passers-by to flee as panic spread across the area.

Eyewitnesses said people were seen shouting and scampering for safety as the fire continued to rage.

Confirming the incident to National Focus, the officer in charge of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Ebute Metta Command, Mr. Ehimen Momoh, said firefighters have been deployed to the scene to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading.

The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are yet to be determined as emergency responders continue firefighting operations.
