An aide to Nigerian music star Davido, Damilare Aladegbola, popularly known as Dre, has offered a cash reward for the return of his phone, which he said was allegedly stolen during Zlatan Ibile’s traditional wedding in Lagos.

Dre made the appeal on Instagram on Monday, asking whoever took the phone during the celebrity-packed ceremony to return it in exchange for money.

“If na u carry my phone for Zlatan wedding, abeg return am, I go give you money please,” he wrote.

The aide also expressed frustration over how phones could allegedly go missing at social events, particularly when waiters approach guests while they are eating.

He suggested that the practice of clearing plates from tables could create an opportunity for phones placed on tables to be taken.

Dre said he would be more cautious at future events because of the experience.

The incident occurred during the traditional wedding of Zlatan Ibile and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, which took place in Oniru, Lagos, on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

The ceremony attracted several personalities from Nigeria’s entertainment industry, with Davido serving as one of the groomsmen.

The wedding was attended by celebrities, friends and other well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the couple.

Zlatan and Davita have been together for several years and have two sons. They had also reportedly completed a private civil wedding before the traditional ceremony.
