Update: Students Rescued After Federal Polytechnic Oko Hostel Collapse [Video]

Some students have been rescued from the collapsed hostel building near the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State.

Videos from the scene showed rescuers carrying one student into a waiting vehicle for medical attention, while another student was seen with an apparent back injury as rescue efforts continued.

The number of injured persons has not yet been officially confirmed, and emergency responders are still searching the debris for anyone who may remain trapped.

As of the time of filing this report, the management of the Federal Polytechnic Oko had not issued an official statement on the incident, while the cause of the collapse remains under investigation.
