Musk Says AI Could Replace Human Intelligence Within Five Years

Artificial intelligence could surpass the combined intelligence of all humans within the next five years, billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has warned, raising fresh concerns about the future of work, innovation, and human decision-making.

Musk made the prediction during an interview with The Economist, where he said the rapid pace of AI development may soon place machines ahead of human intelligence.

The Tesla and xAI chief noted that while the technology could unlock unprecedented innovation and economic growth, it also presents significant challenges that society must prepare for.
