NYSC Coordinator Seeks Ekiti Government Support for Camp Infrastructure
The Ekiti State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr. Adeola Abiodun Ige, has appealed to the Ekiti State Government to support efforts aimed at improving infrastructure at the NYSC Orientation Camp and the State Secretariat.
Ige made the appeal during a courtesy visit to the Chief of Staff to the Ekiti State Governor, Hon. Niyi Adebayo, at the Governor’s Office Complex in Ado-Ekiti.
The visit formed part of the State Coordinator’s ongoing engagement with key stakeholders across the state to strengthen collaboration, foster strategic partnerships, and reposition the NYSC for improved service delivery.
Since assuming office, Ige has embarked on a series of courtesy visits to government officials and other stakeholders as part of efforts to build stronger institutional relationships and advance the objectives of the Scheme in Ekiti State.
During the meeting, the State Coordinator emphasized the need for sustained government support in addressing critical infrastructural challenges at the NYSC Orientation Camp and the State Secretariat.
He noted that upgrading the facilities would improve the welfare of corps members and staff while creating a more conducive environment for the successful implementation of NYSC programmes in the state.
