[Video] X User Criticises Adeleke Over Bridge Project Ahead of Osun Election

An X user, @OgbeniDipo, has criticised Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke over the construction of a bridge project, alleging that the contract was awarded to an interior decoration company.

In a post shared on X, @OgbeniDipo claimed that the bridge, which he said Governor Adeleke and members of the Accord Party celebrated after its completion, had attracted public criticism over the choice of contractor.

The X user alleged that critics who questioned the project were initially dismissed, with their concerns described as propaganda.

“This is the new bridge that Governor Ademola Adeleke & his Accord Party were singing & dancing about, after giving the contract to an INTERIOR DECORATION COMPANY. When Osun people criticised it they said it was propaganda. Well, he will lose the election on 15th August,” the post read.

The comments come amid heightened political activities ahead of the August 15 governorship election in Osun State.

As of the time of filing this report, the Osun State Government had not publicly responded to the claims made by the X user, and National Focus could not independently verify the allegations regarding the contract award.
