The newly posted Ekiti State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mr. Ige Adeola Abiodun, has commenced a series of strategic engagements aimed at strengthening stakeholder collaboration and ensuring the continued success of the Scheme in the state.

Since assuming office, Mr. Ige has paid familiarisation visits to key stakeholders across Ekiti State as part of efforts to consolidate existing partnerships and foster greater cooperation towards achieving the objectives of the NYSC Scheme.

As part of his activities on Tuesday, the Ekiti NYSC State Coordinator visited Corps Members in Ado-Ekiti during their Community Development Service (CDS) meetings. He commended the Corps Members for their commitment to national service and urged them to continue upholding the core values of the Scheme through discipline, patriotism, and impactful community development projects.

The State Coordinator also inspected the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp at Ise-Orun/Emure to assess the level of preparedness for the forthcoming Orientation Course.

During the inspection, Mr. Ige directed that renovation and environmental beautification works should commence immediately across the camp, with facilities receiving the necessary facelift to ensure a conducive atmosphere for incoming Corps Members.

He emphasised that management remains committed to delivering a well-organised, safe, and memorable Orientation Course. He urged staff and members of the various orientation committees to sustain the momentum and work diligently towards a hitch-free exercise.

The Ekiti NYSC State Coordinator reiterated his commitment to strengthening the Scheme through effective stakeholder engagement, improved camp facilities, and enhanced welfare for Corps Members in the state.
