The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2026 Osun State election Bola Oyebamiji has welcomed the endorsement of his candidacy by members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, led by former Governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.

The candidate described the endorsement as more than political support, saying it reflects a shared conviction that Osun State needs a new direction based on justice, fairness, inclusion and balanced development.

He said his administration, if elected, would move the state beyond what he described as one-sided politics and uneven development, promising to ensure that government serves all residents irrespective of political affiliation, senatorial district, religion or community.

According to him, every citizen should feel the impact of government while every part of the state should have a fair opportunity to develop.

He expressed appreciation for the support, saying it comes with a strong sense of responsibility to the people of Osun.

“I welcome this support with humility and a deep sense of responsibility. Together, we can end the politics of division and build an Osun where justice is upheld, opportunities are created and development is felt across the board.”

The APC candidate further called for unity among the people of the state, stressing that the forthcoming election presents an opportunity to chart a different course for Osun.

“Osun must move beyond one-sided politics and uneven development. Government must belong to everyone, regardless of political affiliation, senatorial district, religion or community.”

He said his campaign would focus on rebuilding the state and delivering inclusive development across all communities.

“The time for a new direction is now. Together, we will rebuild Osun and give our people the government they truly deserve.”
