Turaki Celebrates Ex-Vice President Namadi Sambo at 72
The Interim National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kabiru Turaki (SAN), has congratulated former Vice President Arc. Mohammed Namadi Sambo on his 72nd birthday, describing him as a distinguished statesman whose contributions to Nigeria’s development continue to inspire many.
In a statement issued on Monday, Turaki praised Sambo’s years of public service, noting that he served with distinction as Governor of Kaduna State before becoming Vice President under former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
“Today, we celebrate a distinguished statesman, accomplished administrator, gentleman, and the Sardaunan Zazzau, whose life has been characterized by humility, patriotism, and selfless service to Nigeria. Your remarkable contributions to national development and your exemplary leadership continue to garner admiration and respect across the country.”
The PDP chairman also described Sambo as a loyal party leader whose wisdom, calm disposition and dedication have continued to inspire members of the party and Nigerians across the country.
He prayed for Allah’s continued blessings upon the former vice president, wishing him good health, strength and many more years of service to the nation.
