NITDA Platform Registers Over 150,000 Young Nigerians For National Youth Conference 2026
More than 150,000 young Nigerians have registered for the National Youth Conference 2026 through a digital platform developed by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).
The conference, convened by the Ministry of Youth Development, is bringing together young Nigerians from all 360 federal constituencies, the six geopolitical zones and the diaspora to participate in discussions on Nigeria’s development.
NITDA said its digital platform is helping to expand access to the national youth dialogue by making participation easier and more inclusive through technology.
The agency said the platform demonstrates how digital tools can connect young Nigerians to opportunities to share ideas, contribute solutions and participate in conversations that affect the country’s future.
According to NITDA, the initiative also aligns with its focus on equipping young Nigerians with digital skills, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, and improving access to opportunities in the digital economy.
The agency said it remains committed to building a digitally empowered generation capable of creating solutions and contributing to national development.
NITDA added that when young Nigerians have access to digital platforms, their ideas can reach wider audiences and have greater opportunities to translate into practical impact.
