NITDA, Infracorp Strengthen Collaboration on Nigeria’s Sovereign Cloud Agenda

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Infracorp have held discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration to advance Nigeria’s sovereign cloud and digital infrastructure agenda.
The Director-General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, received the Chief Executive Officer of Infracorp, Dr Lazarus Angbazo, to explore strategic partnerships and investment opportunities in the country’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.
According to NITDA, the engagement focused on operationalising the Investment Strategy, with discussions centred on unlocking local funding, increasing private-sector participation and attracting foreign investment into Nigeria’s sovereign cloud infrastructure.
Both organisations also explored ways to build a secure, resilient and investment-ready sovereign cloud ecosystem capable of supporting Nigeria’s growing digital economy.
