Tinubu Congratulates Adeleke on Osun Re-election

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election in the just-concluded governorship election.
Tinubu, who disclosed that he called Adeleke earlier on Sunday to congratulate him, said the governor’s victory confirmed the confidence reposed in him by the people of Osun State.
The President urged Adeleke to use his second term to unite the people of the state, irrespective of their political choices, and rally them towards growth, stability and socio-economic progress.
Tinubu also commended other contestants for their courage and discipline, saying their participation contributed to strengthening Nigeria’s democratic culture.
He further praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for conducting what he described as a peaceful and transparent election that produced a clear winner.
According to the President, Adeleke’s victory is an assurance that democracy will continue to flourish in Nigeria under the All Progressives Congress administration.
Tinubu wished the governor success in his next four years in office and prayed for the continued growth and strengthening of Nigeria’s democracy.
