GBB Reaffirms Digital Infrastructure Drive
Galaxy Backbone Digital Infrastructure took centre stage at the 2026 Infrastructure Conference (INFRACON 2026) as the organisation reaffirmed its commitment to expanding secure and reliable digital infrastructure to drive Nigeria’s economic growth and digital transformation.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Galaxy Backbone, Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju, made the commitment while participating in INFRACON 2026, where policymakers, industry leaders and private sector stakeholders gathered to discuss sustainable strategies for bridging Nigeria’s infrastructure deficit.
The conference focused on mobilising private sector investment to accelerate infrastructure development and strengthen the country’s economic transformation.
Speaking at the event, Prof. Adeyanju said Galaxy Backbone Digital Infrastructure remains one of the most important pillars for national development, stressing that technology continues to play a vital role in improving governance, expanding business opportunities and enhancing public service delivery.
He noted that Galaxy Backbone remains committed to working with government institutions, development partners and private sector organisations to deliver secure, reliable and inclusive digital infrastructure across the country.
According to him, strengthening Galaxy Backbone Digital Infrastructure will empower government agencies, businesses and citizens by improving digital connectivity, supporting innovation and expanding access to essential digital services.
