NNPC Postpones Abuja HSE Conference Over Ebola Case
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has postponed its Contractors and Partners CEO Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Conference scheduled to hold in Abuja on October 21 and 22, 2026.
NNPC Ltd said the postponement was a precautionary measure following the confirmation of an Ebola case in Abuja.
The company said the health, safety and wellbeing of all participants remained its priority, prompting the decision to suspend the conference until a new date is announced.
The conference was expected to bring together NNPC Ltd contractors, partners, chief executive officers and other stakeholders in the oil and gas industry to discuss health, safety and environmental issues.
NNPC Ltd apologised for the inconvenience caused by the postponement and thanked its partners, contractors, speakers and participants for their understanding.
The company said a new date for the conference would be announced in due course.
