FAAN Raises Alarm Over Fake Employment Letters, Warns Job Seekers Against Scammers

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has warned members of the public against a fraudulent “Letter of Provisional Offer of Employment” being circulated by individuals falsely claiming to represent the Authority.
FAAN, in a scam alert, said it is not currently conducting any recruitment exercise, stressing that it has no connection with the purported employment letter or any related job offers.
The Authority urged members of the public to remain vigilant and avoid making payments or providing personal information to anyone offering employment in its name.
FAAN further advised job seekers to verify recruitment-related information through its official communication channels before taking any action.
The Authority reiterated that any genuine recruitment exercise would be formally announced through its recognised official channels.
FAAN urged the public to disregard the fake employment letter and report suspicious recruitment offers to the appropriate authorities.
