VDM: Jimoh Moshood Had No Evidence to Declare Ahmed Tajudeen Wanted
Social commentator and human rights activists Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has claimed that Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Jimoh Moshood, had no evidence to declare Ahmed Tajudeen Akambi wanted.
VDM made the claim in a video shared on Instagram while reacting to an alleged court order concerning Akambi and the Nigeria Police Force.
According to VDM, the court ordered Moshood and the Nigeria Police Force to retract the declaration of Akambi as a wanted person and issue a public apology to him.
He further claimed that the court directed the police to stop portraying, publishing or presenting Akambi as a criminal in relation to the allegations against him.
“The court have also said that Jimoh Moshood have no evidence to declare Ahmed Tajudeen wanted,” VDM said.
VDM also alleged that Moshood had no reason to hold a press conference in which he accused Akambi of sponsoring multiple murders.
He said the alleged court ruling had vindicated Akambi, while calling on the Nigeria Police Force to comply with the order and publicly apologise to him.
The police has earlier linked Akanbi to the killing of two individuals: Sheriff Salami Ishola on April 18, 2023, in Moba Town, and Prince Ademola Akinloye on August 26, 2024, along Chevron Road, Ajiran In the Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos
