Abiodun Condoles Kemi Adeosun Over Husband’s Death

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has paid a condolence visit to former Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun, following the death of her husband, Mr. Anthony Adeniyi (Niyi) Adeosun.

Anthony Adeosun, a respected businessman and devoted Christian, died on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the age of 62. His family had described him as a man whose life was defined by faith, service, integrity and commitment to his family and community.

During the visit, Governor Abiodun expressed his heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Adeosun, her children and the entire Adeosun family over the loss.

The governor described the passing of the deceased as a painful loss, noting that his death would be deeply felt not only by his immediate family but also by many people whose lives he touched during his lifetime.

Abiodun also acknowledged the late Adeosun’s commitment to his faith, family and service, praying that the values he upheld during his lifetime would remain a lasting legacy for his loved ones.

He prayed that Almighty God would comfort Mrs. Adeosun and the entire family, strengthen them during the period of mourning and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.

The governor further prayed for the eternal repose of the deceased, saying, “May God grant Mr. Anthony Adeniyi Adeosun eternal rest and may his soul rest in perfect peace.”
