Tinubu’s Increased Allocations Giving Benue More Funds for Roads, Industries — Alia

Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has attributed the state’s renewed investment in infrastructure and the revival of moribund industries to increased federal allocations under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Alia made the disclosure during an interaction with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors National Media Tour, led by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, after the team inspected major Federal and Benue State government projects across the state.

The media tour, comprising more than 40 editors and journalists, is aimed at assessing and documenting the implementation and impact of key government projects under the Tinubu administration.

According to Alia, the increased funds accruing to Benue from the Federation Account have provided the state with greater fiscal space to execute capital projects, pay salaries and pensions, strengthen infrastructure and revive economic assets.

“The increased Federal Allocation has given us more fiscal space to do some of the things that we could not do before. We are using the resources responsibly to revive industries, build roads and provide infrastructure that will directly impact the lives of our people,” the governor said.
