NYSC to Open Online Registration Portal for 2026 Prospective Corps Members in September

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the online registration portal for the 2026 batch of Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) will open in early September 2026.

This was disclosed in an official notice dated July 28, 2026, and addressed to all Registrars of Corps Producing Institutions (CPIs), with attention to Student Affairs Officers (SAOs).

According to the circular, the commencement of the online registration process means that all Corps Producing Institutions will be required to upload the lists of Senate or Academic Board-approved graduates eligible for mobilisation.

The NYSC directed institutions to immediately begin compiling, verifying and correcting their approved graduate lists to avoid delays when the upload window opens.

The scheme noted that institutions should not wait until the official upload notice is issued, warning that the period for uploading the approved lists may be short due to the volume of work involved in the mobilisation process.

The directive was signed by Mrs. R.O. Idewor, Director of Corps Mobilization, on behalf of the Director-General of the NYSC.

The notice is expected to serve as an early reminder to universities, polytechnics and colleges of education across the country to complete all necessary documentation ahead of the mobilisation exercise.

Prospective corps members are also expected to monitor official NYSC communication channels for the announcement of the exact registration date and other mobilisation guidelines.
