Ogun West IFL Targets Elite, Leaders With Gospel, Godliness Message

Ogun

The State Coordinator of the Ogun West International Friendship League (IFL), Pastor Joshua Taiwo, has said the association is focused on promoting godliness, Christian values and moral principles among highly placed individuals and elites in society.

Taiwo stated this while delivering his goodwill message at a programme organised to commemorate Nigeria’s Independence Day at the Landmark Multipurpose Hall in Joju, Ota, Ogun State.

He explained that the association’s mission is to reach influential individuals with the gospel, help them grow in grace and ultimately prepare them for eternal life.

Speaking on the vision and mission of the IFL, Taiwo said the fellowship was established in line with the vision of the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor Dr W.F. Kumuyi, and the biblical mandate of Jesus Christ to preach the gospel to all nations.

According to him, members and participants have the opportunity to experience true fellowship through consecrated worship, spiritual development, networking and learning from the testimonies of successful individuals.

Taiwo said the organisation’s focus on the elite was not limited to wealthy people, but included highly educated individuals, senior government officials, corporate executives, members of the judiciary, academics, military officers, traditional rulers, medical consultants and other professionals.

He also highlighted some of the community interventions carried out by the IFL, noting that the Lagos and Ogun Central chapters last year visited a correctional centre along Adigbe Road and provided a solar power system and lighting infrastructure.

According to him, the intervention was aimed at addressing the facility’s electricity challenges and has helped improve power supply at the centre.

Taiwo said the IFL would continue to combine its spiritual mission with initiatives that contribute positively to society and improve the lives of people in different communities.
