The Executive Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Tunbosun Haruna Aruwe, has initiated intervention measures to rehabilitate facilities at Igbehin Adun Primary School, Ilasamaja, as part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure in the area.

Aruwe announced the intervention during an inspection of the school’s facilities, where he assessed areas requiring attention and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing pupils with a safe and conducive learning environment.

The Chairman described education as a major pillar of sustainable community development, stressing that children deserve facilities that support academic excellence, creativity and personal development.

“Education is the foundation upon which the future of Mushin is being built. We cannot talk about developing our communities without giving serious attention to the welfare and learning environment of our children.”

Aruwe assured the school community that his administration would continue to identify areas requiring intervention in public schools and other critical sectors, while prioritising projects with direct impact on residents.

He also commended the teachers and management of Igbehin Adun Primary School for their dedication and assured them of the council’s continued support.
