NITDA, NACCIMA Sign MoU to Drive Digital Transformation of Nigerian Businesses
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) to accelerate digital transformation and strengthen Nigeria’s digital economy.
The agreement was signed at GITEX Nigeria 2026 and is aimed at creating a collaborative ecosystem that will promote technology adoption, digital innovation and capacity development, particularly among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Under the partnership, NITDA and NACCIMA will work to strengthen collaboration between government, the private sector, technology companies, academia, investors and development institutions.
The collaboration will also support joint advocacy initiatives and programmes designed to promote a competitive and inclusive digital economy.
A key aspect of the MoU is the strategic partnership for the development and institutionalisation of the Digital Nigeria International Conference (DNICE) 2026 and subsequent editions.
According to NITDA, the initiative is expected to further position DNICE as a platform for driving digital transformation, innovation and economic growth in the country.
