“I Wanted More Time” – Ogogo’s Daughter Mourns Missed Moment With Father
The daughter of late Nollywood veteran, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has revealed her biggest pain following her father’s death, saying he never got to meet her unborn child.
Kira Taiwo, who is expecting her second child, made this known in a tribute shared on her Instagram page on Thursday.
In the post, she expressed grief over the loss and said she had desperately wished her father would stay long enough to meet the baby.
“I love you, Daddy, but I just wanted more time, more time, more timeeee to meet my second baby,” she wrote.
Describing her father as “THE BEST,” Kira said his absence has left her broken.
“My daddy. THE BEST. I can’t even get a hug anymore… This is what heartbreak means, mehn,” she added.
Kira appreciated her father for his love and sacrifices, signing off with a tribute to his praise name, “Thank you ooo TAIYE.”
The emotional post is coming days after she shared their last conversation where the late actor comforted her and urged her not to cry.
Ogogo had told her, “Be strong. I am strong… don’t cry, my princess.”
The veteran actor passed away on August 23 at the age of 66, following a battle with stage-four cancer, leaving behind children, family and a legion of fans who mourn his exit.
