President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Sunday for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.
According to a statement issued on Sunday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom.
The statement said Tinubu is expected to spend three weeks away from the country on what was described as a working vacation.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave,” the statement said.
The President is expected to return to Nigeria after the vacation to resume official engagements and other political activities.
The leave comes ahead of what is expected to be an increasingly busy political period as preparations gather momentum for the 2027 general election.
