Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to driving development across the state through increased investment in agriculture, infrastructure, education, healthcare and youth development.

Kefas made the commitment in a message marking the 35th anniversary of the creation of Taraba State, describing the milestone as an opportunity to reflect on the state’s progress while setting a clear direction for its future.

The governor said Taraba had grown over the past 35 years into a state defined by its cultural diversity, natural resources and vast development potential.

He stressed that peace and unity remained essential to unlocking the state’s potential, assuring residents that his administration would continue working towards building a peaceful, secure and prosperous Taraba.

According to the governor, the government will sustain investments in key sectors capable of improving living standards and creating opportunities for residents.

“We will continue to invest in education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and youth development to secure a better future for our children,” he said.

Kefas also acknowledged the contributions and sacrifices of Taraba residents to the development of the state, urging them to maintain unity and work collectively towards achieving greater progress.

“To every Taraban, thank you for your sacrifices and contributions to our growth. Let us continue to work together in unity and purpose to make Taraba greater,” the governor said.
